Affordable Abstract Art
I’ve just finished a full spring refresh of my space—decluttering, deep cleaning, and swapping out art—and it’s given me a new perspective on curating an interior. As an artist, I’m usually focused on the act of creation itself, not necessarily how a piece will interact with a specific room. But living with art is an entirely different experience.
No serious artist wants to hear that someone bought their painting just to match a sofa—but let’s be honest, the way art integrates into our surroundings matters. The pieces we hang shape the atmosphere of a room, bringing in texture, mood, and personality. A well-placed painting has the power to shift the energy of a space entirely.
This realization has sparked something new for me: a series of abstracted paintings designed expressly for home decor. Think original canvases that are affordable yet sophisticated, where muted tones and organic color play take center stage—pieces meant to uplift and harmonize with an interior rather than dominate it.
Art should never feel like an afterthought, and neither should the way we experience it in our homes. This series will be an exploration of balance, beauty, and the quiet impact of color in a living space. Stay tuned.
