Claire Price (b. 1975, Auckland, New Zealand) is a Brooklyn-based painter whose work bridges the realms of vivid naturalism and dreamlike escapism. A multi-hyphenate artist, Price first gained recognition as a photographer and singer-songwriter, having studied Fine Art with a focus on photography at Canterbury University in Christchurch. Her creative path led her to Paris in 2001, where she spent 14 years refining her artistic voice, immersing herself in the European art scene, and becoming fluent in French. In 2016, she relocated to the United States, marking a decisive shift toward painting as her primary medium. Known for her lush, vibrant acrylic depictions of tropical landscapes and exotic wildlife, Price’s work pulsates with color, energy, and a deep reverence for the natural world. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally, earning her recognition in esteemed galleries and solidifying her place in contemporary fine art.
